L.E. Veinotte & Sons Ltd. was founded in 1959 by the late Lester Eugene Veinotte. His son Eugene now owns and operates the business with the help of his son Andy.

L.E. Veinotte & Sons Ltd. operates two rotary well drillers with licensed operators on each machine. Service is provided to the South Shore of Nova Scotia and surrounding areas, specializing in both residential and commercial drilling.
